Severe Weather Potential - Today and Tomorrow (4/8/15 - 4/9/15)

UPDATED 13:58
The Storm Prediction Center has most of the Midwest in a slight risk category for severe weather, and much of MO, KS and some of OK and IL in an enhanced risk for severe weather.  The National Weather Service in Springfield lists the following hazards:
  • Elevated tornado risk
  • Elevated hail risk
  • Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk
  • Elevated Significant lightning risk
  • Limited non-thunderstorm wind risk
There will be a chance for daytime storms, however, the severe storms are expected to develop in the late afternoon west of MO, then move through the SW MO area.

You should stay tuned to local weather forecasts, as the information at OzarkStorms.com is only current at the time of posting.  Make sure your NOAA All Hazards Radio is on and backed up by battery. If you don't own a NOAA All Hazards Radio, you should.
