UPDATED: Severe Storms Expected - Sunday 2/27/11 Into Overnight

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has once again moved SW MO into the Moderate Risk box for tonight. Please pay attention to local weather, and be safe. The tornado risk for all of southern Missouri is now higher.

The National Weather Service in Springfield, MO expects the following risk levels:

Tornado: Elevated
Large Hail: Elevated
Thunderstorm Winds: Significant
Lightning: Significant

My take on this: The risk has increased, and it's probably going to be a long night.

You should stay tuned to local weather forecasts. Make sure your NOAA All Hazards Radio is on and backed up by battery. If you don't own a NOAA All Hazards Radio, you should. Click the link for a previous blog post on selecting one.
